VIDEO: Whiz Kid Maddy Kinney Rolls Out the Circus Moves
Majorettes member Maddy Kinney has got what it takes to wow audience members using nothing but dance moves and a baton.
Whiz Kid: Maddy Kinney
School/Organization: Martin Elementary School
Accomplishment: For two years the fifth-grader has been a member of the Majorettes, a Seekonk dance team that specializes in baton twirling. A novice right now, she's training for the B team, which performs during football shows. The competitions are one of Maddy's favorite parts of the sport. During the next bout, dancers will put on morbidly fabulous costumes - they're impersonating corpse brides.

"I put a lot of time and effort into it. I get sad when I can't catch things but it pays off. The competition are fun. Everyone has really creative costumes."
Key to Awesomeness: She can toss, roll, and spin a baton in time to music while wearing a corpse bride costume.
