Overnight Monday into Tuesday, motorists traveling along Interstate 295 Northbound in Attleboro will follow a detour in to order to access Interstate 95 Northbound (Exit 2A). The closure of Exit 2A is required to allow for paving operations on the ramp.
Traffic destined for I-95 Northbound will be detoured onto I-95 Southbound to Exit 3A, where traffic will exit onto Route 123 Eastbound and then take the ramp for I-95 Northbound. Significant delays are not anticipated.
The ramp closure and detour route will be marked and details officers utilized, as needed, to accommodate traffic flow. This work is weather dependent and will be postponed in the event of inclement weather.
