Police Log: Seekonk Man Allegedly Runs Away from Police After Crashing Vehicle

arrested eight people from Tuesday, May 3, to Tuesday, May 10.

  • Scotty Oliveira, 28, of 57 Mohawk Drive, was charged with speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for an officer in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possession of class B and D drugs, assault, and marked lanes violations at approximately 9:34 p.m. on Sunday, May 8. According to the log, he allegedly did not stop driving after an officer signaled for him to pull over. He then allegedly crashed his vehicle and attempted to run away on foot at the corner of Cole Street and Mohawk Drive.
  • William Ionetti, 46, of Cranston, was arrested under a warrant at approximately 3:13 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, after he allegedly made an unsafe lane change.
  • Brad Rochford, 30, of Riverside, R.I., was arrested under a warrant at approximately 12:41 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4.
  • Keith Godfrey, 37, of Attleboro, was arrested under a warrant at approximately 12:33 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4. 
  • Robert Wager, 46, of Providence, and John Berouty, 44, of Pawtucket, were both charged with receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit a felony, breaking and entering during the day time, intent to commit a misdemeanor, malicious destruction of property worth over $250 and larceny at approximately 12:28 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, after officers responded to Woodland Avenue.
  • Eduardo Ribeiro, 42, of Fall River, was charged with driving a vehicle without a license after he caused property damage on Fall River Avenue at approximately 8:08 p.m. on Friday, May 6.
  • Steven Tripp, 23, of North Dighton, was charged with his second drunk driving offense after he failed to stay within Taunton Avenue traffic lanes at approximately 10:07 p.m. on Saturday, May 7.
