Open House on the Ice, Early Release and Storytime

Here's what you need to know about what is going on in and around the 'Boro today, Wednesday, March 9.

  1. Today is professional day for the and that means a half-day for students. There will be no kindergarten and elementary schools will release students at 12:10 p.m.; middle school at 11:30 a.m. and high school at 11 a.m.
  2. Wheaton College students are helping young ones in grades 1 through 3 today at 4 p.m. during the  program at . Students will help children read, write and spell all while having fun.
  3. Today there will be at 10 a.m. for kids ages 2 1/2 to 5 1/2 at the Attleboro Public Library. 
  4. Today is Ash Wednesday and that means will begin its fish fry beginning today and held each Friday through April 22 (during Lent) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.
  5. North Hockey, a non-profit hockey association, is holding its open house today from 6 to 7 p.m. on the ice at the Foxboro Sports Center.
