It's Election Day in Seekonk

Take a look at what's happening today in Attleboro and Seekonk.

1. Seekonk voters will be selecting a new selectman today. Voting will take place at Seekonk High School from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Two candidates' names appear on the ballot—Nelson Almeida and Paul Buckley. There is also a write-in candidate, Jeffrey Starr Mararian. Keep your eyes glued to this website all day for election information, including the results after they are released (probably shortly after 8 p.m.).

2. The Attleboro School Committee will meet at Attleboro High School at 7 p.m. The agenda, which can be found here, includes presentations on theMCAS test results and on a superintendent search.

3. Family Night is scheduled at Seekonk Public Library, where Mike the Bubble Guy will be performing at 6:30 p.m.

4. The Attleboro Planning Board will hold a meeting at Attleboro City Hall at 7 p.m. Go here for agenda.

5. The National Weather Service's forecast calls for increasing clouds and a high of 66 during the day. At night, it is expected to be clear with a low near 44.
