  1. IRISH FESTIVAL
    Where/When
    : Saturday, March 12 Patriot Place, Rt. 1 Foxboro (in North Marketplace outside Life is Good), 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
    Why Go
    : There will be live music by the Exiles, Shananagans, Wild Rovers and Celtic Clan. There will also be Irish step dancing by the Harney Academy and the Dunleavy Shaffer School of Irish Dance. And there's something for the kids too including face painting, caricature art, giveaways and more.

  2.  CHIEFTAIN
    Where/When:
    23 Washington St., Rt. 1 Plainville, Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12 at 9:30 p.m.
    Why Go
    : It's St. Patty's Day weekend at the Chieftain. Live entertainment by Infractions on Friday and Hughie Purcell on Saturday.

    Why Go:
    SOTP offers mind games on Friday and entertainment by stand-up comedians on Saturday.

    : Moose Lodge 463 241 Thacher St., Saturday, March 12 6 p.m.
    Why Go:
    Moose Lodge is hosting a St. Patty's Day dinner and party with a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage, live entertainment and raffles.

  5. GIRL'S DAY OUT

    : Showcase Live, Patriot Place Foxboro/ Sunday, March 13 11:30 a.m.
    Why Go
    : It's a Girl's Day Out style and beauty expo to benefit Norfolk Advocates for Children. Local merchants will have for sale bags, accessories, shoes, active wear and more.
