Get Out: Ghosts, Rodeo and Star Wars

Catch a game and you may just see Darth Vader, Hans Solo and Chewbacca battling it out to the finish this weekend.

Who are the ghosts roaming through the mills and is that Chewy from Star Wars at bat? The real question is: Are you fearless enough to find out? Bring out the bicycles, clean out the cobwebs, dust off those helmets and take them to one of this week's Injury Prevention Centers.

Bike Rodeo
Where/When: Kohl's One Commerce Way, Seekonk, MA - Saturday, May 14 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
Why Go: Saddle up those bikes and bring them to the experts from Injury Prevention Center. They will make sure your child's helmet fits properly while volunteers from Narragansett Bike performs bicycle mechanic safety checks.  Also, local police officers will be there to teach the rules of the road on a chalk safety course. Enjoy raffles, refreshments, giveaways and demonstrations. Be sure to bring your helmet and bike.

Star Wars
Where/When: McCoy Stadium 1 Columbus Avenue, Pawtucket, R I. - Sunday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. 
Why Go: Watch the Pawsox vs Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees and you will see your favorite Star Wars characters at the game.
Pricing: Adults: $11 Children (12 and under): $5 Senior Citizens: $5

Mysterious Ghosts
Where/When: Slater Mill Historic Site 67 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, R.I. (Every Fridays and Saturdays) Friday, May 20 - Saturday, May 28 at 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Is the spirit of Samuel Slater roaming around the mill? Explore the long history of the unexplained, where the ending of Ghost Hunters filmed. Participates will investigate the paranormal with professionals Carl or Keith Johnson. Reservations strongly recommended.

Waterfires
Where/When: Waterplace Park - Downtown Providence, Providence, R.I. Wednesday, May 18, at 8:02 p.m.
Why Go: Join in this partial lighting of Waterfires and the urban experience of what the city has to offer. Experience music from around the world as you stroll along the river bank.
