Friday: High School Sports, Pumpkin Festival
A handful of events in and near the 'Konk.
- High school sports such as football and golf will meet at 3:30 p.m. today.
- The will hold the annual 'Pumpkin Somethin' from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.
- Down the road, there's another pumpkin festival and craft fair at the St. John's Episcopal Church in Barrington, R.I. on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Members of the community have been placing mums at the entrance of the library in memory of Sharon St. Hilaire.
- Today will be mostly sunny with a high of 78 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
