Friday: Game Day, YMCA Classes
It's the end of the work week - but the events don't stop.
- Stay cool on Friday Game Day at the Seekonk Human Services center. Games starting at 9:30 a.m. include checkers, bingo, dominos, Parcheesi, card games but poker faces are encouraged.
- Get your fill of weekend activities like the Charlestown Seafood or the Onset Blues festival in the most recent Get Out.
- Aqua Aerobics and other classes meet at the Newman YMCA today.
- Did you know? On this day in 1963, the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union signed a treaty in Moscow banning nuclear tests in the atmosphere, space and underwater, according to the New York Times archives.
- Tomorrow will be partly cloudy with a high of 82 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
