Free Pumpkins Available at Farmers Market

The market will take place Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the parking lot next to the Attleboro Library on North Main Street.

Come get your free pumpkins while they last this Saturday at the Attleboro Farmers Market. Each family can grab one pumpkin. Be sure to carve it like it a pro, and bring it back to the market next week to enter a contest.

A Summer Place Farm, located at 389 Tremont Street in Rehoboth, will have farm-fresh eggs available from their Aracana chickens. These chickens are fed grain and vegetable scraps. They are free-range chickens and lay blue eggs.

Mums, corn stalks and pumpkins will be available this week for your autumn decorating.

Proofed Artisan and Traditional Breads will offer decadent cinnamon sugar pull-apart, farmstand apple, cranberry and walnut, loaded baked potato, lemon and blueberry, mixed Italian cheeses w/herbs, pepperoni and cheese, Tuscan vegetable, rustic rye, cinnamon raisin, vegan-organic mixed seeds and fruit, seven-grain organic w/ pumpkin seeds and apple cider

This week's food drive will benefit Hebron Food Pantry

 We ask that you bring healthy non-perishable and not out-of-date food products. Food items such as soups, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, pastas, sauces, canned meats and toiletries such as tooth paste, toilet paper, facial tissues, shampoo and soap are welcome. Cash or check donations will also be accepted. When you make a donation, you will be entered in a drawing to win a Kindle. A drawing will take place at the end of the season. Lettuce is back! Peaches, apples, turnips, cabbage, spinach, beets, carrots, tomatoes, corn-on-the-cob, peppers, beans, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, onions, potatoes, summer squash, zucchini, butternut squash, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, lettuce, Swiss chard, kale, syrup, a variety of herbs and cheeses and more will be available this week. Discount coupons and Shoppers Aides

Visit the Managers' tent to pick up discount coupons for New England Tire and SpeeDee Oil Change, and AFM shopping bag or T-shirt.

The Attleboro Youth Commission will be on hand to provide assistance to shoppers who need as extra hand with their purchases.
