Five Things to Know in the 'Boro Today: Feb. 14

Here's what you should know about the 'Boro today.

  • It's Saint Valentine's Day. Happy Valentine's Day.
  • Attleboro Public Library is hosting storytime for childrens ages 2 1/2 to 5 1/2. Children will listen to stories in the Balfour room and participate in crafts in the activities room at 1:30 p.m.

  • The Attleboro Historical Commission is holding its trustee meeting at the beginning at 6:45 p.m.

  • Mostly cloudy in the morning, then it will be partly sunny. Expect highs in the mid 40s, says the National Weather Service. Hold on to your hats, and secure those trash bins, Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph are expected during the day. It will be mostly cloudy in the evening and it will become cooler with lows in the lower 20s. The wind will really pick up late in the night with gusts up to 25 mph expected in the evening and increasing to 35 mph after midnight. 

  • exhibit is open today. The Attleboro Arts Museum’s Ottar Gallery has on display  artwork from emerging artists based in Attleboro, Dighton, Easton, Mansfield and Rehoboth.  It's FREE and open to the public.
