Five Things to Know Going on in the 'Boro Today: Feb. 11

It's Friday and it's a busy day in Attleboro today.

Five Things You Need to Know Today" is a Patch column that quickly updates users about important, daily information. 

  • It is time to warm up the city of Attleboro. The Attleboro Youth Commission is hosting a family-Friendly event in the lower level of the Elks Lodge on South Main Street from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. It's free, but donations are greatly appreciated. The event is being held in memory of the late Deanne Auclair, founder  of HEAT. 

     
  • Love is in the air and Attleboro want to celebrate with a Valentine Sweetheart Dinner Dance beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at midnight.

     
  •  begins tonight at 5 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. Winterfest Craft Fair runs all this weekend at LaSalette.  Vendors welcome;  Call 508-222-5410.

     
  • Well, if it isn't The Odd Couple. The is performing the Odd Couple beginning tonight, directed by Bill Castro and being held at the Ezkiel Bates Masonic Lodge.

     
  •  girls' basketball team is playing at home at 100 Rathbun Willard Dr. against Mansfield High School. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
