Listen Local, Listen Fresh

New Saturday morning program on 1320 AM with some Local Flavor! Come have a listen!

Farmers Market Radio Hour Program:

Hosted by: Eddie Porreca

The Farmers Market Radio Hour includes discussions with folks directly, indirectly and positively affected by the resurgence of farmers markets. I talk with local growers and food artisans about the challenges of farming and the benefits of participating in farmers markets. I also speak with local chefs, doctors, nutritionist and personal trainers about the tremendous health benefits of eating fresh, local and seasonal foods.

Also included in the program are conversations with local politicians, market organizers and food magazine publishers about the social and economic advantages of having a successful farmers market in your city or town.

The Farmers Market Radio Hour is a casual easy listening Saturday morning conversation with friends that leaves you with a better understanding of how important, interesting and relevant farmers and farmers markets are to our health, economy and socialization as a community. My guests and I are happy to guide you on a tour of the ever-changing and expanding world of the farmers market.
