Sexually abused children have the CAC of Bristol County on their side

Be aware of sexual abuse and how to prevent it in Attleboro and Seekonk.

In the five years that the Children's Advocacy Center of Bristol County has been open, we have provided services to 1,650 sexually abused children. The numbers continue to grow of children who are being victimized. This past year, we had a 30 percent increase of abused children (total of 430) over last year. And, we know that this is an under-reported incident because of the fear and shame.

Awareness is the first step toward prevention. It is never too early to talk to your children about safe touches. Continue to talk to your children and keep their communication ongoing about their personal safety.

Please consider "liking" us on Facebook. How about increaseing the number of likes to 430 to illustrate your support for each child who was abused as your way of saying that no child should ever be abused.
