Should There Be a Starbucks in Attleboro?

Many Attleboro Patch facebook users don't think so. What do you think?

Earlier this week, Patch asked the question, "Why aren't there any Starbucks in Attleboro?"

Based on Patch data, Starbucks restaurants tend to be located in big cities, next to college campuses and around Suburban shopping plazas.

The lack of Starbucks stores in Attleboro doesn't seem to bother many of Attleboro Patch's facebook followers. Some said they didn't like the coffee while others said they are perfectly happy "running on Dunkin'."

Here are a few responses:

Greg Dore over rated

Pat Dean Attleboro runs on Dunkin'.

Gailann Roy Newton I agree, Attleboro runs on Dunkin'

Ashley Spillane We cant afford it lol

Brenda Harrop Marshall I totally agree...Attleboro runs on Dunkin.

Carol Cobb Ferraro Because we are NEW ENGLANDERS and love DD - no Seattle coffee for us. BLAH!!!

Susan Wilbur Harris Sorry, i'm a New Englander, but DD is too mild. Why not brew their Dark roast in hot? Can only get it in iced. Luckily I work in Providence often and visit Bucks every chance I get! And a basic coffee at Bucks is the same $$ as DD.

Tiffany Dykman Page I want Starbucks, darn it.

Kim Alessandro Not a fan...but I tend to make my own coffee...it's cheaper and better than ANY of them.

Amy Manix We moved from my hometown of Attleboro to a small country town in Ct (far from skyscrapers or a college campus) and we have a Starbucks as well as about 4 DD's. I don't think it matters if you live out in the middle of nowhere or in the big city. I'm not a fan of Starbucks coffee in general but I do LOVE their Java Chip Frappuccino...YUM!!

What do you think? Should there be a Starbucks in Attleboro?
