Readers Choose Briggs Corner Store
The Attleboro shop was selected as the best place for alcohol in this week's Readers' Choice poll.
When shopping for alcohol, a majority of voters in this week's Attleboro-Seekonk Patch Readers' Choice poll prefer . The Attleboro shop received 44 percent of the vote.
In business since 1929 and located at 1503 Park St., Briggs sells more than just alcohol. It also stocks grocery items, handles UPS shipping and provides P.O. boxes.
Regarding Briggs, Patch reader Jimmy Desper wrote, "The wine selection is one of the best in town!"

A contributor to Yelp.com wrote, "I live a minute from Briggs and I am there just about two times a day, and I love everyone that works there. I hate going grocery shopping, so I buy a lot of my stuff there."
Placing second in the poll with 19 percent support was , located at 628 Washington St. in Attleboro. Rounding out the top three with 14 percent support was , located at 98 Highland Ave. in Seekonk.
