Pink Friday at Local Donut Shops to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Dunkin' Donuts shops in Attleboro, Rehoboth and Taunton are helping to support one local breast cancer foundation.

Several Dunkin' Donuts shops in Attleboro will be helping to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation as part of breast cancer awareness month.

Dunkin' Donut shops at , , and. will participate in the third Annual Pink FriDDay, on Friday, Oct. 28, during which they will collect donations from customers in counter canisters, the company said in a press release.

In the last two years, more than $3,200 has been raised for breast cancer awareness, which is part of the company's philosophy to give back. Dunkin' Dounuts also supports Rhode Island Special Olympics, the Jimmy Fund, Operation Support Our Troops, Hasbro Children's Hospital, Southcoast Blood Bank and the Dunkin' Dugout at neighboring
