Outdoor Seating Returns For Second Year at Scorpio's, Sangria's

The Attleboro City Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday night on whether or not to renew Sangria's outdoor liquor license in downtown Attleboro.

The hearing comes the month after the City Council allowed Sangria's and its neighbor Scorpio's to set up tables outdoors for the second year in a row. Scorpio's outdoor liquor license was also renewed.

Councilmen have reacted positively to the downtown setup, many saying it adds a positive ambiance to the downtown area.

Councilman Richard Conti compared it to a "min Federal Hill during a June 4 City Council meeting.

Licensing Committee Chair Jeremy Denlea said the first year of outdoor seating and alcohol sales "went off without a hitch."

What do you think of the outdoor setup at Sangrias and Scorpios?
