Parker's Meat and Deli has a few suggestions to make your Super Bowl party championship worthy.

The Super Bowl is just around the corner and with local favorites the Patriots in the big game again, Seekonk is sure to be home to plenty of parties hoping for a fourth championship for New England.

, located on 22 Olney Street, is ready for the big event. A large sign reading “Let’s Go Patriots!” greets customers at the door. Seekonk Patch caught up with Parker's this week to get a few suggestions for how to plan a great Game Day feast.

While they sell plenty of the traditional game day snacks, such as chips, dips, crackers and cheese, Parker's also has other choices that may be overlooked.

Something a little more high end would be the piece of filet mignon, which is on sale this week.

“Cook up a nice steak and enjoy the game,” said Ann.

Of course, the most popular item so far has the been the old standby: buffalo wings.

Parker’s also has a selection of meats, cheeses, and crackers for anyone wanting to make a deli platter as an appetizer.

“You can make them yourself, or we can make them for you,” said Ann. The platters are made fresh to order.

Parker’s also sells the requisite beer and wine.
