Farmers Market Features Drinking Jugs

The market will take place Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This week's Attleboro Farmers Market, which takes place Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the parking lot next to , will feature limited edition drinking jugs. There will be different shapes and sizes. Swing by the management tent and check them out.

New Vendor and Special Participants

Garden Farms is the newest vendor to join AFM and will feature jellies and relishes.

Be Sweet Bakery will have blueberry, chocolate chip and carrot cake muffins as well as double chocolate caramel and dark chocolate cranberry cookies.

Again this year, AFM along with New England Tire, will be hosting the American Red Cross Blood Mobile on Sept. 15th. Bleeding will commence at 7 a.m. and the ARC will take appointments until 12 p.m. More information to come.

Food Drive

This week's food drive will benefit Attleboro Areas Council of Churches

We ask that you bring healthy non-perishable and not out-of-date food products. Food items such as soups, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, pastas, sauces, canned meats and toiletries such as tooth paste, toilet paper, facial tissues, shampoo and soap are welcome. Cash or check donations will also be accepted. When you make a donation you will be entered in a drawing to win a Kindle. A drawing will be held at the end of the season. Attleboro Farmers Market Social Tent     

Come on down, grab a snack, coffee or tea and just have a seat and a visit! Game boards will be available for use. Challenge a friend, family member or your favorite market volunteer to a game of cribbage, checkers, chess or trivia.

Tomatoes, corn-on-the-cob, peppers, beans, cucumbers, eggplant, blueberries, raspberries, garlic, onions, potatoes, summer squash, zucchini, lettuce, Swiss chard, kale, syrup, a variety of cheeses and more will be available this week. Discount coupons and Shopper Aides

Visit the Managers’ tent to pick up discount coupons for New England Tire and SpeeDee Oil Change, and AFM shopping bag or T-shirt. A new order of T-Shirt is now in.

The Attleboro Youth Commission will be on hand to provide assistance to shoppers who need as extra hand.
