'Chill Zone' Drinks and Coffee Responsible for Raising Thousands for One Attleboro School

Chill Zone drinks and coffee from Attleboro's Cumberland Farms raised more than $2,000 for Willett Elementary.

The students and organizers behind a newly-built had a task and they put their mind to it. They also had a little help from the community's thirst for coffee and various flavored Chill Zone drinks at

Just one day before school let out, the family of Willett Elementary heard the great news that after four weeks of fundraising, the school had raised $2,231 from 11,156 cups sold at the local Cumberland Farms.

"This was an extremely successful fundraiser!" said Samantha Lowe, a spokesperson for Cumberland Farms.

Margie Kelley, a Willett mom who came up with the idea for the community garden, said she was thrilled with the news.

 "Now that we've built the Willett Garden, we're working to make sure it becomes a sustainable, permanent part of the curriculum," Kelley said. "With the generous support of Cumberland Farms, we'll be able to get the tools, training and materials we'll need to make that happen.
