Attleboro Car Dealership to Change Hands

Cerrone Chevrolet Buik, GMC and Cadellac on Washington St. is likely to change owners in the near future - and you may eventually see some construction at the site.

Bill Gibb, of Foster, RI, was before the Attleboro City Council during a public hearing last week regarding his application for a Class 1 Auto License at the site. He hopes to purchase the dealership by Nov. 1.

After the transaction, nothing will change at the site, which currently allows for 250 display spaces. However, Gibb will likely be back before the City for upgrades to the property, including new showrooms.

The matter will be discussed with the Licenses Committee, headed by Jeremy Denlea, this week before being brought back before the entire council.
