Amtrak: No More Banners on the Tracks in the 'Boro

A decision by Amtrak will force many organizations to look elsewhere to market their events to residents.

Attleboro City Councilor Shannon Heagney is expected to address the recent move by Amtrak to stop the City of Attleboro's Park's and Forestry Dept. from hanging any signs on its tracks.

Officials told city workers recently that they could not hang banners from the track, which is something that has been done for years in the city by organizatios like Capron Park, the Fireworks Committee, Attleboro Farmer's Market and more, according to the Sun Chronicle.
