Buckley for Seekonk

Seekonk School Committee Member Brian Freitas endorses Paul Buckley for Selectman.

As Seekonk's special election for Selectman fast approaches, it is my pleasure and honor to fully support and endorse Paul Buckley. Paul is a lifelong resident of Seekonk who has dedicated countless hours to making Seekonk a better place to live. He currently serves on the Board of Assessors and has served as a member of the former Personnel Board as well as a member of the Search Committees for Fire Chief and Town Administrator.

I have personally witnessed Paul's passion and enthusiasm as Chairman of the Seekonk Republican Town Committee. Under his tenure as Chairman, Seekonk has grown in importance and relevance at State-level politics. Paul has also transformed the SRTC into a public service oriented organization – donating to many Town causes and even donating the ice sculpture for Seekonk’s 200th Anniversary Ball.

Importantly, Paul offers a vision for Seekonk and has viable plans once elected. He has been and continues to be an ardent supporter of the Senior Center. Paul also supports a Fire Station in our South End, dedicated IT services in Town Hall and the Charter mandated reestablishment of a Human Resources Advisory Board. I urge you to vote, as I will, on Sept. 24 for Paul Buckley. Seekonk badly needs Paul Buckley's vision, leadership and experience.
