Kennedy Experiences Blue Pride in Visit to AHS

Attleboro High School is very fortunate that, while in the area, Congressman Joe Kennedy, III was able to experience Blue Pride while visiting many of the STEM-related CTE programs. CTE Director, Susan Edmonds, and Principal, Bill Runey, were proud to show him the great things going on in Engineering, Medical Assisting, Computer Information Systems, Plumbing, Electrical, and Automotive. Not to be outdone, the Culinary Arts students prepared a ‘to-go’ lunch for him to allow him to stay on his busy schedule.
"A comprehensive high school like AHS provides so many opportunities for students to experience many options to be college and career ready given that few teenagers know what they want to do with the rest of their lives" said Runey. "Congressman Kennedy's support of STEM-related programs fits our vision perfectly." Some photos are posted at www.Facebook.com/AttleboroHighSchool.
