Viewfinder: Jackson Gillman Mixes Music and Learning for Attleboro Kids

Here a stomp, there a stomp, everywhere a clap, clap.

The summer adventures continue at the as local children and their families explore music from around the world. On Tuesday, Aug. 2, Jackson Gillman delighted his audience with silly songs that required their participation. There were songs that taught sign language, actions that required children to become turtles and even a new pledge to learn.

Attleboro Public Library's Children's Librarian Krystal Brown, deemed the program such a delight that she gave Gillman permission to quote her on his website "one of the best programs she has had."

Gillman has produced a DVD set of some of his favorite stories and songs and has written a book "HAPPINESS IS A DECISION OF THE HEART" that is available on his website. Gillman is not just a storyteller, but an entertainer who weaves delightful stories and songs into a fun and educational program.
