The mission of the SMARTS Collaborative is to provide training, education and performance experiences in the arts and to enrich the participating arts programs.

Founded by Bart O’Conner, former superintendent of the Attleboro Public Schools, in 1984, SMARTS was created with the goal of working with the Great Woods Performing Arts Center to showcase student work. SMARTS now offers year- round programs in music, theater and visual arts.
