Attleboro Community Theatre's "A Christmas Carol"

“A Christmas Carol” was originally written by Charles Dickens in a six week period over November and December in 1843. Our production has been rewritten by Jeanne Smith of Norton, and this year some favorite characters have returned.  Our audiences come year after year never knowing what to expect!

Some of the featured performers include:

Tom Davis of Attleboro, a newcomer to ACT, plays Ebenezer Scrooge, the tight-fisted, bitter, miserly old man.

Molly Hillis of North Attleboro, another ACT newcomer, plays the animated character of Mrs. Turk, Scrooge’s maid.

Frank Wilmoth of Attleboro plays Jacob Marley, Scrooge’s dead business partner, and his characterization is bound to bring some laughter.

Kevin Fish of Woonsocket plays  Fred, Scrooge’s nephew, who never gives up on his uncle finding the holiday spirit.

Anthony Paola, also of Woonsocket, plays Old Joe, who in today’s world would be known as pawnbroker as he gathers up Scrooge’s belongings.
