Seekonk Police Log: Warrants

Two arrests are reported for the week of June 25 through July 1.

The reported the following recent arrests (an arrest does not indicate a conviction):

June 26

  • 10:09 p.m. Jeffrey Mueller, 47, of Caribou, Maine was arrested on Highland Avenue on an unspecified warrant. 

June 27

  • 10:20 p.m. Donald Joseph Perry, 27, of Seekonk was arrested at the intersection of County Street and Fall River Avenue on an unspecified warrant. The arrest followed a traffic stop.

They are all paid way better than you ever will be, so no need to thank them. They also will enjoy benefits for life, paid for by us all. You are only right about them doing their jobs. Put on your seatbelt or you could be next weeks headline.

Paul in Massachusetts that is not correct. Massachusetts requires 32 years of service with minimum retirement age of 55. Thirty two years equals 80% of the last 5 years of salary. AND NO SOCIAL SECURITY. Average pension is around $35,000 per year. And Medicare at 65 by law. In RI most Police and FIre employees receive no social security and do not pay into it. As far as the rest of the comparisons I live in Mass so not my issue.
