Seekonk Police Chief to Step Down

Take a look at what's happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.

1. The Sun Chronicle reported today that Seekonk Police Chief Ron Charron will step down in March. No reason was given for the departure. He has been with the department since 1981 and has been the chief since 2006.

2. Unless you're a polar bear, you will probably consider today's weather to be an improvement over yesterday's freezing situation. The National Weather Service's daytime forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 36. However, look out for the wind that could reach 13 mph, including gusts up to 25 mph. At night, it is expected to be mostly clear with a low near 22 and a west wind traveling 8 mph to 10 mph, with gusts up to 22 mph.

3.  As we "enjoy" the cold weather, keep your mind on the upcoming spring. Attleboro girls fast pitch softball online registration is open. Go here to register.
