One Week Until Election Day

Take a look at what's happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.

1. In exactly one week, Seekonk voters will head to the polls to choose a new person to serve on the Board of Selectmen. The candidates are Nelson Almeida, Paul Buckley and Jeffrey Starr Mararian. The winner will complete the term of Bill Rice, which ends in April 2014. All voting will take place at Seekonk High School from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

2. It's New Year's Day in the Jewish community. Rosh Hashana began last night at sundown. Go here for a schedule of services and other events taking place at Congregation Agudas Achim
