Town Meeting, Attleboro Residency Hearing

Here is a look at what is happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.

1. The big event of the day is the . Twenty-nine items will be considered for approval at starting at 7 p.m. Go here for more information.

2. The town meeting comes on the heels of a major shakeup for the Board of Selectmen. First-term selectman Bill Rice called it quits on Monday. Go  for more on that story.

3. A major meeting could be taking place later this week in the Mayor's Conference Room at . The Elections Commission's agenda for Wednesday at 6 p.m. includes an item labeled "Residence Hearing." Elections officials are unwilling to disclose further information, but the community rumor mill is swirling. Stay tuned.

4. Don't forget to vote for Attleboro in the contest to determine which city gets $100,000 to build a dog park. Just imagine what this city could do with that kind of cash. Go for more information.

5. It is expected to be sunny with a high near 74 and a pleasant southeast breeze that could reach 10 mph, according to the National Weather Service. At night, the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a low near 54.
