I love Capron Park. I grew up in Attleboro and have always gone to Capron Park. Back in my day it was a far different environment than it is now. We watched fireworks there (poor animals!), bands played in the bandstand, there were buffalo and deer, a pool for summertime swimming. The big pond had huge "goldfish." In the winter it froze over and we could go there to ice skate. Now the animals are different—more "upscale" and our zoo is accredited. The playground seems much improved. The big fields remain for our enjoyment, as well as the walkways. It's a wonderful park and I'm glad we have it!
