  1. Today is President’s Day and in observance of the holiday, Seekonk Public Library and Human Services will be closed.
  2. All trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day due to the holiday.
  3. Did you know that today’s holiday is actually Washington’s Birthday even though we have come to know it as President’s Day? This fact is according to americanhistory.com.
  4. Today marks the 9th anniversary of the Station Night Club fire in Rhode Island.
  5. The National Weather Service is calling for sun with a high of 41 degrees.
