How many of the students actually believe the lies and false doctrine of the Catholic Church?

In Dog, tell us how you really feel. I don't have much use for religion myself but who cares? Why does it get you so worked up? Also, many people send their kids to Catholic schools because they can be a reasonably proced private alternative to public schools. Not everyone sends their kids there for religious reasons, in fact I'd be willing to bet that a significant percentage, if not an outright majority, don't send their kids for religious reasons as much as the private school factor.

I agree with some of what you wrote and certainly know people (parents and kids) who think they're better than others because they go to the BFHS's & SJE's of the world. That being said, I also know good people who are willing to pay for an education for their kids which they believe is better due to smaller class size and other factors. I had considered it as a private alternative for my children and the religious aspect was something I was willing to endure but in the end decided against it for my own reasons. There is definitely the thought that private schools, whether religious or not, can eliminate some of the negative elements that public schools are required to put up with, often to the detriment of other students. While I was raised Catholic I am an atheist and have trouble w/ the Catholic dogma although I respect people who are believers (I have trouble with the blind faith believers though or those who think they're better than the rest of us). I definitely agree with you on the lawn signs, lol.
