Memorial Ride/Fundraiser to Benefit Animal Shelter

The event is in honor of Dick Beaulieu, an Attleboro motorcyclist who was killed during a gas explosion in February.

Attleboro motorcyclist Dick Beaulieu will be remembered Saturday afternoon with a memorial motorcycle ride from La Salette Shrine (947 Park St.) to the Moose Lodge. The ride will be followed by a dinner, live music and a raffle at the lodge. The event is sponsored by the Oakhill Community Residents Association.

Beaulieu died of an aparrent heart attack in February shortly after his Oakhill home exploded due to an aparrent gas leak. He was 80.

The party will include food donated Boneyard Barbecue and Briggs Corner Pizzeria. It will include nearly 20 raffle items donated by local businesses and a a 50/50 cash raffle.

People can sign in for the bike ride at 11 a.m. It will begin at 12 p.m. For $20, people can register for the ride and party. Those only wanting to go to the party can pay $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and older. It is free for children under 10.
