High Holiday Schedule in Attleboro

Congregation Agudas Achim brings in the year 5773 on the Jewish calendar.

This is the holiest time of the year for the Jewish people, as they mark a new year (5773) on their calendar beginning tonight at sundown. Congregation Agudas Achim's schedule for services and other events are listed below. All events will take place at the synagogue, located at 901 North Main St., unless otherwise noted.

Tashlich
Monday, Sept. 17 at 4:30 p.m. 

Join us as we "cast away our sins." Every year, we meet at the duck pond on Route 152 (North Main Street) in Attleboro across from the . Bring some stale bread crumbs. We will join together to symbolically cast away our sins and start the year fresh. Ideal for children.

Rosh Hashana Day 2 Service
Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 9:30 a.m. 

Cemetery Memorial Service
Sunday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. 

The days between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur are a traditional time to visit cemeteries and pay respect to our loved ones. Please join us for a special service at Dodgeville Hebrew Cemetery (South Main Street in Attleboro behind Hillside Cemetery). We will read our "Golden Book" and recall the memories of those who have left their marks in this community.  Seats and tent for this year's service kindly donated by Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.

Yom Kippur Healing Service
Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 4:30 p.m. 

Come to a special appearance of Miriam's Well, our monthly service of healing and hope.  Together we will sit in silence, chant and share our prayers  for ourselves and others.
