Happy 4th! Here are some exciting local events that include a bike parade, fireworks, waterfire and a farmer's market in the 'Boro!
Fourth of July Fireworks:
Where/When: Hayward Field, North Avenue, Attleboro, July 4 at 9 p.m.
Why Go: What better way to celebrate the 4th than with fireworks! People travel for miles to see this awesome display that is held right here in the boro! Come early for pre-firework entertainment, food and fun.

Kidz 4th Fun and a Bike Parade:
Where/When: Poncin-Hewitt Field, Attleboro, July 4, 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Why Go: You will not want to miss this 4th of July celebration filled with family oriented games, activities, food, music and prizes! Join the annual bike parade as children parade around the Poncin-Hewitt Complex on their decorated bicycles. The event will include age appropriate races for children 13 and under including a baby-crawl race, wheel-barrel race, potato-sack race, watermelon roll and more. The sprinklers will be on and complimentary hotdogs, chips and beverages will be available for all.

Attleboro Farmer's Market:
Where/When: Attleboro Library Parking Lot, 74 North Main St., Attleboro, July 2, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: Come support our local farms! This farmers market will take place weekly all summer and feature locally grown food sold by the farmers who produced them. This weeks market will offer face painting for children. Be on the lookout for a Patch representative to sign up for our newsletter and receive a Patchy prize!

Fourth of July at Normandy Farms Campground:
Where/When: Normandy Farms Campground, 72 West St., Foxboro June 24-26
Why Go: Hele mei hoohiwahiwa, come celebrate! Bring your Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts for this tropical weekend you'll never forget. This event Filled weekend will include a Luau, movie, bingo, ceramics, basketball, softball, poolside games, candybar bingo and parachute play.

Waterfire-Providence:
Where/When: Waterfire Park, Memorial Boulevard, Providence, RI, July 2 at 8:22 p.m.
Why Go: Experience the celebration of community and beauty that is WaterFire! This enjoyable and relaxing event embraces the entire city. You can dress up or go casual and there are plenty of dining venues within walking distance.
