The Attleboro Public Library will be holding free events during February vacation week. All events require registration. To register or for more info, call the Attleboro Library Children's Room at 508-222-7820.

Journaling for Fun, grades five and up, Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Join creative writer Deb Titus for some fun, imaginative writing opportunities. Bring a notebook and a baby picture to participate. They will provide snacks and other supplies at the library.

Games, Games, Games, grades one through eight, Wednesday, Feb. 22, 10-11 a.m. Bring your favorite board game (or use one of ours) and get ready to play.

Comic Book Family Night, grades two and up, Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The children’s room is hosting three local comic book collectors to explain how they got
interested in comics, comics as literature, the art in comic book illustrating and the buying, handling, and collecting of comic books.  There will be plenty of books to look at, and some writing and drawing projects to try.

Comic Book Show & Tell, grades two to four, Thursday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. The love of comic books can start as soon as kids are reading on their own. So what are some of the popular (and appropriate) series for younger kids? Bring the comics that you are reading and tell us what you love about them.

Reading Buddies, ages three and up, Friday, Feb. 24. Middle school students are invited to read with younger children. Come meet your buddy.

The library is located at 74 North Main St.
