“Waste for Warmth” E-Waste & Shredding Heating Assistance FundraiserS

The Artic Mission will hold its 2nd annual electronic waste recycling & document shredding event to benefit its heating assistance program. For a donation to the Artic Mission, businesses & indi-viduals can recycle electronic items & batteries & shred documents.

E-Waste: $5.00 donation per item
Shredding: $0.45 per pound
Batteries: Household (alkaline): $0.25, Back-Up Batteries (UPS’s): $2.00


Approved e-waste: TV’s, window unit air conditioners, microwaves, dehumidifiers, CPU’s/computers, servers, keyboards, spare computer parts, monitors, laptops, network equipment, mice, printers/copiers/fax machines, scanners, printer cartridges, routers, radios, cables, wires, cell phones & telephones (No white goods i.e., re-frigerators, stoves, etc.)

There will be a mobile shredder on site to destroy documents containing your personal or sensitive information.

The Rhode Island Blood Center, VNA of Care New England & CVS Pharmacy will be accepting blood donations & administering flu shots. Free refreshments will be provided - food courtesy of Panera Bread. Co-Hosted by: Tech Collective, Office Recycling Solutions & Cardi’s Furniture! Together, we can help “Keep The Heat On!”
