Fundraiser Yard Sale

Labor Day Weekend Yard Sale 

A yard sale to benefit the Yankee Volunteer Fife and Drum Corps will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2 from 8 am – 4 pm at 136 Bishop Ave, Rumford, RI. Included in the sale will be housewares, furniture, accessories, home décor, books, collectibles, clothing, children’s items and one-of-a-kind finds. There will truly be something for everyone!

All proceeds will directly benefit the Seekonk-based Yankee Volunteers as they raise funds for their upcoming concert tour. 

Interested in donating items to the yard sale? Large items such as dining sets, chairs, end tables, coffee tables, sofas, rugs, beds, baby furniture etc. may either be dropped-off on Friday, August 31 after 5 pm.Smaller items in salable condition such as housewares, furniture, jewelry, accessories, home décor, books, collectibles and clothing are also being accepted.

The Yankee Volunteers have traveled extensively with their most recent tour taking place on Nantucket Island in July 2012. In addition to local parades and events they have also performed in London, England, Charleston, SC, Washington, DC, Jamestown, VA and Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Fundraisers such as this assist the Seekonk-based group as they continue their mission of honoring and preserving traditional, Early American music.
