This upcoming weekend (June 14-17), motorists traveling along Interstate 295 Northbound in Attleboro will follow a detour in to order to access Interstate 95 Northbound (Exit 2A). The closure of Exit 2A is required to allow for reconstruction of the ramp. The work will begin on Friday at 10p.m. through Monday at 5a.m. Traffic destined for I-95 Northbound will be detoured onto I-95 Southbound to Exit 3A, where traffic will exit onto Route 123 Eastbound and then take the ramp for I-95 Northbound. Significant delays are not anticipated. The ramp closure and detour route will be marked and details officers utilized, as needed, to accommodate traffic flow.
