Home Invasion Robbery Suspect Arrested

1. One of the suspects in was arrested Tuesday afternoon, according to The Sun Chronicle. We will have more information on this story soon.

2. The allegation that School Committee member David Murphy  will go before the Election Commission at 6 p.m. The commission is expected to determine whether a hearing should take place following the submission of a complaint by district parent Jen Crowder. Murphy, who grew up in Attleboro, has said repeatedly that he is a resident of the city.

3. The son of a former Attleboro police chief who was fired for his alleged role in a tasing incident is expected to appear at this morning to appeal his dismissal to the state Civil Service Commission. A two-day hearing on Richard Pierce Jr.'s firing was scheduled to take place last month. It is not clear if this is a continuation of that hearing or if last month's hearing did not take place and this is a rescheduled session. The hearing is not open to the public unless Pierce requests for that to happen.

4. Officials from Columbia Gas of Massachusetts are expected to be at Seekonk Town Hall at 7 p.m. for the Board of Selectmen meeting to discuss the company's performance during . Local and state officials to turn off the gas to the restaurant and on how long the process took. 

5. It is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 84 and a calm wind that could reach 7 mph, according to the National Weather Service. At night, it is expected to be mostly clear (with patchy fog after 2 a.m.) and a low near 57.
