School Committee to Vote on Athletic Field Design
Take a look at what's happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.
1. The Attleboro School Committee, a building committee and the City Council will hold a joint meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Attleboro High's mini auditorium to receive a presentation from contractor Gale Associates on the design for the high school track and field complex. The councilors will be there to listen, perhaps make a few comments. The committees are expected to vote on "the schematic design" and authorize Gale Associates "to proceed to the construction documents phase."
2. Also tonight at Attleboro High, the school will present its annual Winter Concert. It will begin at 7 p.m.
3. The Seekonk Board of Selectmen have an important meeting beginning at 6 p.m. The session includes the appointment of two school committee members. Go here to see the agenda.

5. The National Weather Service's daytime forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, a high near 45 and a northwest wind traveling up to 17 mph. At night, it is expected to be partly cloudy with a low near 28 and a northwest wind traveling up to 10 mph.
