Local High School Seniors Graduate Tonight

Here is a look at what is happening in Attleboro and Seekonk.

1. It's graduation night in Attleboro and Seekonk. The Attleboro High School graduation will take place on Tozier-Cassidy Field at 6 p.m. The Seekonk High ceremony will take place on the football field at 6:30 p.m.

2. If you want Attleboro to get a really nice dog park, vote for this city in a contest hosted by PetSmart. The winner gets $100,000. Go  for more information.

3. You can also support the community by donating to the Fourth of July fireworks fund. People will be standing in front of Attleboro's Dunkin' Donuts from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday. You can also give money directly to the fund. Go here  for more information.

4. The Attleboro Farmers Market had a wet start last Saturday, but it was still a great community event. The skies promise to be kinder on week two at the market, which takes place in the parking lot next to the library on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The National Weather Service's forecast calling for a high of 79. There is a 20 percent chance of rain, but the showers are not expected to come down until after 2 p.m., if at all. 

5. Today will be a chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2 p.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 76; this is according to the National Weather Service.  At night it will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms mostly cloudy with a low around 55.
