Grace Baptist Christian Academy Students Entertain Attleboro AARP

Students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 at Grace Baptist Christian Academy of Attleboro thoroughly entertained members of the Greater Attleboro AARP Chapter 952 on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Sweet House in downtown Attleboro.

Adorned in either red or black school sweaters, the GBCA students thrilled the chapter representatives with a rousing rendition of Christmas carols and songs. The presentation included three separate chorale performances – students in Kindergarten through Grade 2, Grades 3 through 6 and Grades 7 through 12.

High school senior Evan Tyrol, an award-winning pianist, provided piano support for most of the program. GBCA staff members assisting students included Joy Tyrol, Melanie White, Christine Yoakum, Jan Laramore and Billi Jo Nichols.

According to Pastor Jeff Nichols, GBCA’s principal, school students annually make visits to local community groups to exhibit their musical abilities as well as performing during school-sponsored activities.
