Dayspring Christian Academy Prepares For Dinner and Stage Production

Students in grades 4 through 8 at Dayspring Christian Academy will host stage performances of “Annie” this Friday (April 4), and Saturday (April 5) at the adjacent South Attleboro Assembly of God Church located on Route 1A.

Friday’s performance will start at 7 p.m., and Saturday’s production at 2 p.m. An admission fee of $7 per person will be charged to those in attendance.

In addition, DCA’s Parent Advisory Council will sponsor a chicken dinner at the school Friday from 5 to 6:30 p.m., consisting of chicken, pasta, rolls, salad, beverages and desserts. Tickets for the dinner and play combination are $10 per person, with a special price of $35 for a family of four people.

Tickets for either performance can be purchased at the door. Tickets for Friday’s dinner must be pre-ordered by Thursday.

Based on the popular comic strip Little Orphan Annie, created by Harold Gray, “Annie” portrays the escapades of a lively orphan girl in New York City in the 1930s. At DCA, the musical will be staged in several acts replete with designs, props and lighting.
