Community VNA Continues Monthly Support Groups in 2014

Community VNA offers monthly support groups that are free and open to all communities. For more information on groups, please call 800-220-0110.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support­: A monthly support group for those who are caregivers for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementia. Alzheimer’s support group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM at 10 Emory Street, Attleboro.

Parkinson’s Disease Support: A monthly support group for people with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. The Parkinson’s Support Group meets at Community VNA, 10 Emory Street, Attleboro on the second Wednesday of each month, 10 AM – 12 Noon. Meetings include speakers, informal discussions and support.

Debilitating Conditions Support: A group for people with debilitating conditions or chronic pain. Meets on the first Friday of the month from 2 PM - 3:30 PM.

Drop-in Grief Support Group: Held at Community VNA, 10 Emory Street, Attleboro MA on the first Monday of each month, from 7 PM - 8:30 PM. This meeting is for grieving adults experiencing recent or long term feelings of loss and grief. No registration is required.

Mansfield Adult Day Health Center - a program of Community VNA: For caregivers of a loved one who is elderly or has a disability, Mansfield Adult Day Health Center offers a meeting on the fourth Thursday of the month from 10 - 11:15 AM, at 300 Branch Street in Mansfield.  For information, please call the Center at 508-339-2119

Norfolk Adult Day Health Center-a program of Community VNA: For caregivers of a loved one who is elderly or has a disability, Norfolk Adult Day Health Center offers a meeting on the last Tuesday of the month from 10 AM – 11:45 AM at 595 Pleasant Street in Norwood. Respite care for your loved one is available at the Center during the support group. Please call the Center at 781-769-4495 for information­.­­
