Superintendent Search Family & Community Research
All Family Focus Groups will convene in the respective school building’s library and will run for approximately one hour. Questionnaires to be used to initiate conversations will be available in each principal’s office by Monday, October 22nd. In addition, on the week of October 22nd the Family & Community Survey will be disseminated to all students of the Attleboro School District. Parents and community members can return completed hard copy versions of the survey to homeroom teachers by November 2nd. An electronic version of the survey will be available via the Attleboro Schools website by early November.
More About Thomas E. Willett Elementary School
Thomas E. Willett Elementary School is one of five elementary schools in Attleboro. Willett, home of the Willett Whalers, follows the district's goal in its journey toward excellence through two core programs including Everyday Math (Chicago Math), a program that approaches mathematics through problem solving using everyday experiences and Reading Street, a program that monitors students' reading progress. Students have access to the school's more than 10,000 books and a computer-based reader monitoring program, Accelerated Reader. Willett's curriculum also includes art, computer, music and physical eduction. Willett has an active Parent Teacher Organization that meets monthly to develop and execute enrichment, reading and after-school programs for students.
