I tend to think of what I am truly grateful for on a daily basis and not just during the Thanksgiving season. A blog from me was a bit overdue, and I figured it was a good time to proclaim my gratitude.

I am so thankful for...

My husband, he goes above and beyond to be an awesome provider of many things for my children and me. I feel very fortunate to have him. He's my rock star, my movie buddy, and a very handy guy to have around! (and they say blind dates never work out!)

My children - yes even though they drive me crazy sometimes, I can't help but adore them. Sometimes in a moment I feel like I am the worst parent ever, they will remind me how great I am! The element of surprise is always there with my handsome three sons! They are my sunshine on many a cloudy day.

My Parents - Yes, my parents! They support everything I do and also are fun and wonderful people that I am happy to call my friends as well!

My attitude/outlook - I've been through many ups and downs and loopy de loops, probably more than any rollercoaster, but at this point in my life, I realize there is no looking down, no closing my eyes. They are wide open and ready for anything that comes my way! Life is what you make it, and YOU are the only one truly in charge of your happiness.

My friends - This includes my sisters - we are sisters first but very fortunately are friends too.  I am also very grateful to have amazing women/mothers as my friends. I met most of them in a moms' group when I first became a stay at home mom. We have had a lot of fun times together with our kids, and even without! I hope we will continue to do so for a as long as possible!

My Mother in law(MIL) - Okay, my father in law too, but you don't hear those MIL kind of jokes about father in laws so I digress. My mother in law is very kind, thoughtful, and generous. I am proud to be her daughter in law!

My inlaws in general are all good people. Plus, I have six truly awesome nieces and nephews also! Furthermore, my sister in law is hosting Thanksgiving! Now that I am totally appreciative of! 

Last but not least - my discovery of the writing life, which was about 30 years ago, is something I am so grateful for. Had it not been for a friend of mine(Sarah) in junior high, I am not sure I'd be writing this now - Thank you Sarah! Writing is a huge part of my life now and will be forever! It is part of the glue that holds me all together.
